Tom Arnold
Account Manager
Tom joined Local Dialogue in 2008 and has since worked on projects for both multinational and more local developers. These include a Growth Point project in Lincolnshire, the proposed restoration of a derelict railway bridge and nearby land in the East Midlands, the transformation of an abandoned industrial estate into a new family housing estate, and several major retail developments throughout the UK.
This broad spectrum of work has meant that Tom has helped develop a wide range of differing approaches to the consultation and stakeholder relation process in his time at Local Dialogue, from hosting public exhibitions of proposed developments to community meetings, press conferences and targeted lobbying of key political stakeholders.
Prior to joining Local Dialogue, Tom worked for a Leeds-based public affairs consultancy where he worked on a national and local level on behalf of clients such as Mitsubishi Electrical, Yorkshire Water and Yorkshire forward. His work ranged from improving the brand recognition of small, local charities through carefully targeted media and political relations to direct contact with Cabinet Ministers.
Tom has a degree in History and Politics from the University of Sheffield.
