Jeremy Fieldsend

Partner

Jeremy has over 30 years' experience in public relations, specialising in media relations and marketing. In his early career he worked within a media consultancy, co-ordinating European media relations for clients before moving into marketing, working for an exhibition specialist at conferences throughout Europe. Prior to joining Local Dialogue, Jeremy ran his own consultancy, Fieldsend Marketing Associates.

Since the early 1980s, Jeremy has been using public relations techniques to help secure planning consents for major developers and household names, working on a diverse range of mixed-use and retail-led schemes. His experience ranges from high-profile shopping centres to significant town centre regeneration schemes and, more recently, large-scale infrastructure projects.

Running Local Dialogue’s operations in the North of England, Jeremy leads the communication and consultation on new store development for Sainsbury’s in North West England. Jeremy is also responsible for managing a number of other key clients for Local Dialogue including residential, industrial and leisure sector developers.

Jeremy regularly trains local councillors and elected representatives about their role in the planning process and has spent time as a lecturer at De Montford University, focusing on planning communications.
