Account Executive
London – Competitive salary + bonus package
We are looking for an Account Executive with at least 6-months' experience and, ideally, previous experience of working in planning, property and community relations to join our growing team in London.
The successful candidate will work on a number of high profile projects across the UK, including infrastructure, energy, masterplanning and new development schemes. Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, writing, event management and proofing skills.

Benedict McAleenan
Senior Account Executive
Benedict joined Local Dialogue in 2010 from the team of the Coalition's Housing and Local Government Minister, The Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP, for whom he managed election campaigns and political communications at a local level.
At Local Dialogue, Benedict has taken a key role working with National Grid on its nationwide undergrounding policy review, as well as major IPC-regulated connection projects. He is also working as part of the account team managing consultation and communications programmes in support development proposal across London for residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes. Benedict is also Local Dialogue's lead on digital communications, overseeing successful social media campaigns for a number of clients.
Benedict has several years’ experience working within the Conservative Party in London and the Home Counties. He has led community engagement projects and campaigns on behalf of councillors and politicians at every tier of government. Projects have included retail, utilities, waste management and housing-related campaigns.
After graduating from Durham University, Benedict worked as a teacher in London on the ‘Teach First’ programme. He has also held media roles in the United Arab Emirates.
